Drax the Destroyer, a prominent character in Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, possesses a tragic origin rooted in vengeance.
Originally Arthur Douglas, a human whose family was murdered by Thanos, he was resurrected by Kronos as a being solely dedicated to eradicating the Mad Titan. This new form, Drax, was imbued with superhuman strength, durability, and the ability to project energy.
